The two axis truss handling manipulator is a cross shaped manipulator that can perform linear motion in both the X-axis and Z-axis directions, with spatial right angle relationships between the degrees of freedom of motion. The walking part of the truss manipulator is driven by linear guide rails and gear racks. The main structure and crossbeam are made of rectangular steel pipes, which have good strength and stiffness, and a compact structure.
